Double El CD received $12,000 in Matching Grants for 2014 to provide assistance to landowners for range-land health conservation practices. Double El donated an additional $1,328 from their own funds to the grant funds to provide more cost share assistance. Six landowners received approval for cost share assistance on range-land.

Projects Funded:

• 4 solar pumping systems
• 2 livestock wells
• 1 livestock tank

The 6 projects benefited 2880 acres of range-land.

Total costs of projects was $32,166. Landowners provided $18,838 of their own funds to complete these range-land health improvement projects.
