Double El Conservation District received $10,000 Matching Grants for windbreak/living snow fence cost share assistance.

Double El CD provided an additional $5,333 funds to assist more landowners and projects.

Projects Funded:

• 10,193 ft of windbreaks were installed by 11 landowners
• 12,429 ft of living snow fences with Elbert/ El Paso counties and six landowners

Total cost of projects $45,545. Landowners and counties provided $30,012 cash matching funds.
