Morgan Helton, a graduate of Calhan High School received the 25th annual Double El Conservation District (CD) scholarship for $500 with a renewable option of $1000.

She graduated with a 4.064 GPA and was involved in numerous activities during her high school career including volleyball, basketball, and track, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership, Leo Club, Student Council, class officer, and math tutor.

Morgan’s goals are to attend Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois to major in Biology and eventually become a physical therapist. She is the daughter of Brad and Nancy Helton of Calhan, Colorado.
