It is with great sadness and extreme frustration that the Double El Board of Supervisors has decided to cancel the 2020 Annual Dinner. This action is taken due to the inconsistent and unpredictable restrictions put in place by the governor.
While many organizations are proceeding with various events and meetings in virtual platforms, we feel that the best part of our meetings is gathering together for fellowship, meeting new people and catching up with old friends. This is not something that can be experienced through screens or over phone lines.
We explored various options, all of which severely limited the number of people we would be able to have attend. As much as we love this event and hate the thought of skipping this year, we believe it is the best course of action at this point.
