The Double El Conservation District (CD) has received an $8,000 grant from Colorado State Conservation Board to provide cost share assistance with installing windbreaks and living snow fences in 2022. Additionally, Double El will be contributing $2,500 to increase the total cost share funding available to $10,500!
The cost share funds are a service of the Double El CD to help landowners improve and enhance their land. Approved applications can receive up to 50% reimbursement of actual cost of conservation practices installed.
How to Apply
All approved applications must meet Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) guidelines and specifications. Applications will be considered on a conservation ranking system for funding approval.
Project may not be started until approved by Double El CD. Funding will not be approved for practices already installed.
