Grant Guidelines
The cost-share funds are a service of the Double El CD to help landowners improve and enhance their land. Approved applications can receive up to 50% reimbursement of actual cost of conservation practices installed.
Eligibility
To be eligible all materials (trees, weed barrier, etc) must be purchased from Double El CD. Weed barrier fabric is required for all windbreak projects for cost share assistance.
All windbreak designs must meet guidelines approved by the NRCS and the Conservation District. All costs will be paid for by the applicant. Reimbursement for approved cost share amount will be paid upon completion and approval by the NRCS and Conservation District.
Project must be completed by June 30, 2023.
Windbreaks that have been installed prior to cost share application approval are not eligible for assistance.
