Double El Conservation District is pleased to support the annual 6th Grade Poster Contest sponsored by the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD).
6th graders who attend Simla, Miami-Yoder and Calhan schools are welcome to participate, as are private school or home school students living within Double El CD.
2021 Theme
The theme for 2021 is “Happy Trees, Happy Communities”.
Deadline to submit posters is September 28, 2021.
Presentations will be made at the schools listed above.
Prizes are awarded at the local level and two winners will move on to the state competition, with the possibility of moving to the national competition, where additional prizes are awarded.
Each student who participates will be presented a seedling tree in the spring of 2022.
