Our final order-by date for our Tree Programs arrived on April 22nd. Seedling Tree orders are due to arrive for pick-up on May 13, 2016 – as the time nears, we will send out notices to our customers of the confirmed pick-up date/time – barring late spring blizzards or early tornado season…
🙂
If you were unable to order the varieties you wished to, late in 2016’s program season, we encourage you to plan ahead for next year…
Use our Tree Selector – browse our Conservation Corner archives and map out your plan for next year.
As more folks learn of our local services, stock does run out earlier each season. We are committed to aiding you in your conservation goals and a little planning now will aide us in reserving from the nursery the number of trees needed for our customers, early in the next season.
Bonus for Us – We love hearing about and working with our customers about conservation plans!
Spring Has Sprung
Wet spring snows and beautiful early days of warmth mean that even as we finish up our tree program and prepare for May delivery dates – we are already thinking ahead to the next steps and planning how we can serve you through the season of growth and bounty.
Have questions about custom grass seed mixes to improve you rangeland? Or grazing management? How do you control those noxious weeds?
(Our webmaster reports she is already beside herself trying to root out the wild mustard on her tiny slice of Earth she signed up to care for – She reports the dandelions are looking strong, too, and maybe, just maybe, this year, she’ll successfully make a spring tonic wine, instead of vinegar being the end result -every spring brings renewed hopes for us all… )
What’s Next in the Season?
Your land riddled by gopher highways? Soapweeds? Canadian Thistle?
Just how do you get water up to a stock tank with no electric readily available in that far off back 40 acres you acquired?
How does cross-fencing aide in your conservation goals?

Conservation and Preservation of our natural resources is a big job – If we don’t specialize in it, we are committed to connecting you with someone who does.
We may not have every single answer on every thing you want to do – but we probably know someone who can help, if not our area of expertise –
That’s what Conservation Folks do, after all –
