The Double El Conservation District and Agate Conservation District are both offering financial assistance to applicants interested in attending Camp Rocky, a week long camp for 14-19 year old students interested in natural resources. Looking for seedling tress? The Double El Conservation District has a number of large tube Rocky Mountain Junipers, Bristlecone Pine and Bosnian Pine, in addition to some bare root Wood’s Wild roses. The Double El Conservation District is hosting its annual local work group meeting to acquire input from it’s patrons on conservation issues concerning them. The public in invited and encouraged to attend this meeting on Thursday, June 6th at 7:00 pm at the Simla Branch Library. Refreshments will be served.
Due to recent winter storms, our Large Tree Distribution day has been moved to Friday, April 19, 2019. Location and times remain the same: Warehouse located at the corner of Buffalo and Sioux, Simla, Colorado, from 8:30 a.m to 7:00 p.m.
