The Double El Conservation District (CD) has received an $8,000 grant from Colorado State Conservation Board to provide cost share assistance with installing windbreaks and living snow fences in 2021. Additionally, Double El will be contributing $2,500 to increase the total cost share funding available to $10,500!
Grant Guidelines
The cost-share funds are a service of the Double El CD to help landowners improve and enhance their land. Approved applications can receive up to 50% reimbursement of actual cost of conservation practices installed.
All approved applications must meet Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) guidelines and specifications. Applications will be considered on a conservation ranking system for funding approval.
Projects may not be started until approved by Double El CD. Funding will not be approved for practices already installed.
Project must be completed by June 30, 2021.
