Double El Conservation District is hiring a temporary part-time position as follows:

District Conservation Technician

The position assists Natural Resource Conservation Service in planning and implementing conservation practices for landowners in the District.

The position is funded by a grant that expires December 31, 2022. The position is temporary until December 31st with the possibility to qualify for the 2023 grant position January through December.

The position will be 24 to 40 hours per week. Salary range starts at $12.56-$15 with paid holidays.

Position will start immediately.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, a good driving record and computer experience required.
• Applicant must be able to pass drug screening and a USDA security clearance check.
• Agricultural or natural resource experience preferred.
