Purple new foliage, clear red-pink flowers, and abundant dark red fruit. mature height of 20 ft with a spread. purple leaves in the spring later turn to reddish green.
In May pinkish red flowers form all over the tree. Flowers give rise to dark-red fruit . The fruit hangs provides food for song birds.
Easily grown on a host of sites across a variety of temperature zones.
