Overview:

Can be used in outer rows of multi-row windbreaks. Has potential for single row plantings where a low, dense barrier is desired.
Noted for it’s brilliant fall coloration and red-orange fruit, it provides important fall and winter food for songbirds and emergency winter food for game birds, though the unpleasant odor from it’s crushed leaves has given it the alias of ‘skunkbush’.
Provides nesting for many bird species and browse source for mule deer.
