The NRCS with Burlington and Flagler Conservation District, will host a workshop to learn more about soil health test on March 8th from 10:30 – noon at the Burlington Community Building.
If you can’t attend the Burlington Seminar, a brief presentation will be given at Flagler Conservation District , 319 Main Ave in Flagler from 2-2:30 pm.
There is no charge for the workshops.
Topics:
Clark Harshbarger will discuss the importance of soil health and what a soil health test is.
Bud Gillespie will discuss how to take a proper sample for a Soil Health Tests.
Local farmer panel of those who have participated in a two-year sampling study will share that they have learned so far from testing on their operations.
Door Prize Drawings for Savings:
Door prize drawings will be held for attendees for free or half-price Soil Health Tests.
