Each year, Double El Conservation District (CD) participates in the Colorado State Forest Service Trees for Conservation Program, aimed at encouraging Colorado residents to establish effective windbreaks to reduce erosion, protect homes, cropland, livestock and highways as well as enhancing wildlife habitat, and plant new forests.

Farmers, ranchers, small acreage and urban conservationists/landowners can obtain seedling trees for their conservation projects at production cost, in budget-friendly bundles of 25 or 30 seedlings. If you are looking for smaller quantities, please call our office for information on split bundles or browse the options available in our Large Tree Program.
