Double El Conservation District is hiring for a temporary part time position for District Conservation Technician.
Duties
The position assists Natural Resource Conservation Service in planning and implementing conservation practices for landowners in the District.
Schedule and Benefits
The position is funded by a grant that expires December 31, 2021. The position is temporary until December 31, 2021 with the possibility to qualify for the 2022 grant position January through December.
The position will be 24 to 40 hours per week. Salary range is $12.32 – $14 per hour with paid holidays.
Position will begin immediately.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good driving record
- Computer experience (required)
- Applicant must be able to pass a USDA security clearance check.
- Agricultural or natural resource experience preferred
